December summary

A reasonable result in the end for December, without a huge amount of play, although I have got in a few hours over the xmas break.

A couple highlights:
  • Got to the WBCOOP finals on Stars which was quite fun, but fairly time consuming. Good for something different though, and learnt a few new games in the process like 2-7 lowball, omaha, razz etc.
  • Blew my $86 ticket that I won in the WBCOOP very quickly
  • Took another shot at $4/8 on bodog and was unsuccessful again due to running extremely cool
  • Recovered from my shot at Bodog remarkably quickly
  • Hit my third ever Royal Flush, and picked up a $50 bonus for it (50 times the big blind .. unfortunaly was only playing $1/2 at the time)

Last month's goals for December:

  • Clear as much of my Bodog reload bonus as possible (try to get closer to taking another shot at $4/8). (cleared a huge chunk of the $200. Took a shot and lost)
  • Clear a chunk of my remaining Cake reload bonus (cleared $60 of it)
  • Spend some more poker points and hopefully convert some to cash (nope)
  • Play some Pacific through my RBS deal (yep, had a small heater, but now need to buy the hand converter to upload into PT)
  • Pray for another Cake reload ... and don’t screw it up this time (didn't happen)
  • Maybe sign up on Eurolinx through RTR (didn't get round to it)
Maybe sign up for another kickback bonus through PSO (didn't get round to it)

The gain of $1,200 for the month was made up of:

Bonuses/VIP: $310

  • Bodog: $200
  • Interpoker: $50
  • Cake: $60

Rakeback: $130

  • Cake: $40
  • Fulltilt: $60
  • Interpoker: $30

Poker bankroll Interest: $60

Poker winnings / (losses): $700

For January the goals in order of priority are:

  • Clear as much of my Bodog reload bonus as possible (try to get closer to taking another shot at $4/8)
  • Finish my remaining Cake reload bonus
  • Clear my monthly interpoker bonus
  • Spend some more poker points and hopefully convert some to cash
  • Possibly purchase the Pacific hand grabber to play there
  • Pray for another Cake reload ... and don’t screw it up this time
  • Maybe sign up for another kickback bonus through PSO

Current bankroll: $15,800

Great blog and I must say your attention to detail is superb. Your playing like a pro ie like runing a business with SMART objectives. 13K for a partime player is great and I will be following this years progress with great intrest. i will link you up when i have a minute. One question for you is have you played on any of the ipoker network sites and whats the bonus schemes like compared to others? i say this because of the impending move to the network by William Hill. Any way good luck for the new year
